Update 11.19.06

November 19, 2006 by mainedition

Hey guys,

Got a few updates to go over. We’ve got a little more info up at the real site, Hunt and Fish Arkansas. This is just going to be a long tedious task to get done because there is so much information on the subject of hunting in Arkansas.

I have some of the New Laws 2006 up so you can check that out. As I get to each one you will see a “Read More” link which will correspond to the information in the book on certain pages. Like I said—there’s a lot of info on this to get typed up and coded for the Internet.

We actually have not even begun to look over the fishing part of it yet–sorry guys.

In other news, our family has decided we will be moving out of state this coming summer. We visited Colorado last year and fell in love with it so we plan to move there. We still love Arkansas, as this is our home state, but it’s time to move on. This means that the website Hunt and Fish Arkansas will be for sale. If you are interested in purchasing the domain please contact me at admin@mainedition.com.

The more work I do on the site, the higher the price is going to go. You will also need to find your own webhost to host the site on. I’ve never sold a domain so not sure how it works–but we can get that figured out. I do plan to continue work on the site until it’s sold. If the buyer wishes me to stay on and finish the site we can also discuss my fees for that as well.

I think it’s a great site, a great idea and has a tremendous amount of potential for the future. It will just be hard to work with it in another state–although it could be done.

I will continue to make updates here at the blog too. I was going to move it to the new domain but since we’ve decided to move and all—it’ll work here just fine.

Happy Hunting,
Ann

Have Domain, Will Travel

November 7, 2006 by mainedition

You guys thought I forgot about you didn’t you?  Nope.

I’ve been busy.  We now have a domain for this place, http://www.huntandfisharkansas.com, go check it out.  It’s a bit more time consuming since I have to do all the HTML coding too.  But I think it’ll be well worth it.  We may eventually move the blog that way too.

Have a great hunting season everyone,

Sorry for the Delay

October 29, 2006 by mainedition

Sorry for the delay, we haven’t forgotten, but we have been thinking of just creating a whole website instead of just a blog.  So bare with us please.

Thanks to Moose for dropping by and leaving a great link to another strange animal.  We appreciate it.

Our network has many irons in the fire and if we decide to create a website for this–it’s going to take even more time–but we think it will be well worth the effort.

Happy Hunting,

CVA Inline Recall

October 18, 2006 by mainedition

The 1997 CVA recall continues…

If you have a 1995 or 1996 serial number on your inline CVA muzzleloader, there has been a recall on this product. You will get a free replacement.

In 1997, Connecticut Valley Arms, Inc., issued a recall of in-line muzzleloading rifles manufactured in 1995 and 1996. These models need a barrel replacement or serious injury could occur.

The number to call is 1-770-449-4687 (8:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. EST.)

Check the serial number on the barrel of your gun opposite the firing bolt. If it ends in the numbers 95 or 96, it will need to be replaced.

Example: 61-13-xxxxxx-95 or 61-13-xxxxxx-96

Blackpowder Products, Inc. purchased the assets of CVA, Inc. in May of 1999. Blackpowder Products assumed no liability for any product manufactured or sold prior to January 1, 1998.
Blackpowder Products, Inc., is continuing the Connecticut Valley Firearms, Inc., recall.

Please do not return your in-line rifle before you contact a company representative at 770-449-4687.
